Russia's main oriental museum
The State Museum of Oriental Art is the largest cultural and educational centre owning an extraordinary collection of Oriental artworks. Its repositories house approximately 150 pieces of art. The permanent display consists of over 5,000 exhibits: sculptures, paintings, drawings, examples of decorative arts, weapons and archaeological findings.

World of Illusion and Beauty
The World of Illusion and Beauty explores theatrical traditions of Eastern countries. During the online tour, visitors will have a chance to discover traditional Japanese theatre and find out what tricks the actors would use to transform into their characters. They will also dive into a mysterious atmosphere of the Indonesian shadow theatre. The online tour is led by Nikita Muzyka.

Arts of the Far East (China, Japan, Korea)
At the Arts of the Far East tour the guests will explore the most enigmatic countries of the Orient: China, Japan and Korea. In the Korean part of the tour they will visit a traditional Korean house, or hanok. The Chinese department will present works of traditional Chinese arts, such as ceramics, porcelain and ivory carvings. In the Japanese hall online visitors will discover special pottery for tea ceremony, a collection of netsuke and one of the world's largest ivory sculptures, the Eagle on the Pine Tree. The online tour is guided by Darya Zaklinskaya.
